Alt Belfast

This work is a combination of video and portraiture work aimed to put a spotlight onto the past and present of punk/alt subculture in Belfast. The portraiture is a focus on the present with photos of individuals that still view themselves as alt either through bold fashion statements or through the mindset of punk ideology. The video is more representative of the past and the anarchy which punk ideology brings. The push back of rules, politicians, leaders, political climate. To have an anti-establishment and anti-authoritarianism mindset. It is also the want to have full creative freedom and safety of being expressive.
